Year of Queens. Day 125. It’s strange. To dedicate the hours and days to standing in the same room with this gang and trying to listen and trying to hear - trying trying trying to head toward beauty. Listening for that hook or melody line to float into the room.

Year of Queens. Day 126. We have a very dear friend who recorded Sinead O’Connor’s first two albums. She was 20 years old and pregnant. I’m pretty sure she understood the gravity of her situation. And she responded with creating music of timeless beauty. Our friend helped her. How do we try to use our lives to create such beauty?
