Giving Thanks

Year of Queens. Day 172. These wonderful people spend hours, days, weeks, months, years working on songs with me, playing shows with me, trying to make the most beautiful music with me. Thank you.

Day 173. DCK is playing with @whiteoaksplitsband on Thursday night at @fleetwoodsavl. Best live band in WNC.

Day 174. Year of Queens. @jessieandthejinx will be joining us @fleetwoodsavl on Thursday night. You all will be blown away - amazing classic country voice!

Day 175. Year of Queens. Every practice = 100%. Every show = 100%. Every recording session = 100%. This is an old soul and the engine of the band. Happy Birthday Colleen.

Day 176. Year of Queens. Because of floods and band members looking after stuff we haven’t really played out our album “love is punk” as much as we’d like to. But we have written another whole album - and we like how it sounds played together as a concept and we’re always excited to share the new new songs and the new new sound.

Day 177. Year of Queens. @wuestewelle radio over in Germany is playing Anxiety #7 by the Dark City Kings. Big is Bavaria, in Southern Germany, in the Black Forest. From the Black Mountains to the Black Forest - Dark City Kings! Thank you Germany.
