Year of Queens. Day 88. It has been an interesting summer. On the outside it seems like stop/go and stop/go. On the inside it feels like we are slowly creating an unstoppable song book.

Year of Queens. Day 89. Sometimes we lean toward more traditional songs. Sometimes we move toward more ArtPop.

Year of Queens. Day 90. Sometimes it’s just time to smoke a pipe in your truck.

Year of Queens. Day 91. We’re just trying to have fun. If we’re just trying to entertain ourselves then we’re free.

Year of Queens. Day 92. Just to show you all that we’re not just writing new wave and art pop songs these days:

Year of Queens. Day 94. To be clear - we want to create this messy shambolic energy on stage that spills over into the crowd and so we don’t know where our energy ends and your energy begins and we’re all one big ball of energy.

Year of Kings. Day 95. Setting up shows for the fall - will announce soon.

Year of Queens. Day 96. I want a large white board for the practice space at Craig’s old house. Just to keep up with where the songs are going.

Year of Queens. Day 97. Art is the voice that is 100% true. But what happens if that voice is pop music?

Dark City Kings. Year of Queens. Day 97. Sunday afternoon practice. I have a feeling that the warm sunny days with stretch through August and through September and through October and this will be the longest summer ever.

Year of Queens. Day 98. I want to build a platform for Craig. For Bayla. For Mike Anderson. I want to build platforms for our back row. Everyone is interesting and doing interesting things with interesting instruments.
