Year of Queens. Day 231. We’ll be playing at @edas_hide_a_way on Friday night with @mattplessmusic. Musicians for Overdose Prevention will be distributing feee naloxone. We’ll be playing heartbreaking dance music garage new wave punk folk.
Year of Queens. Day 232. There was a moment - two year ago - maybe a little more - when I noticed that something was happening when we played our originals together. We had been playing a cover and another cover and then an original and then a cover and then another original. We played our songs together and they were building on each other and creating this growing energy. We’re not smart enough to plan this - and we’re just as confused as everyone about living - but something was happening.
Year of Queens. Day 233. Tomorrow night we play at @edas_hide_a_way with @mattplessmusic. We’re fairly confident you’ll get the feels. We only have a couple of shows before we record our next album so we’ll be rolling through a set filled with this new story.

Day 236. Year of Queens. We try to keep our melody lines and lyrics so simple that you can sing our songs in the shower, and you can understand us the first time you hear us. These are nursery rhyme pop songs about heartache and heartbreak and coming together as a gang and fixing the world by dancing on the bar and making out in a darkened corner.
